To Kill A Mockingbird Project
The project was about Harper Lee's book, To Kill A Mockingbird, and how she felt about racism going on in her life. In order to keep her message alive, we were asked to write a play, adapting her story to modern day civil rights issues.
When the project was finished, I felt that an area I grew in was work ethic. What work ethic means is how you do a job that is given to you. People with good work ethic are the people who get a task and begin planning how it should be like in the end. They are the hard workers who start working the moment they are asked to. They are self-disciplined and put work before play. They take all work seriously and try their best to get it as perfect as they can. Work ethic varies on the person, and I feel that I have good work ethic.
Another learning outcome I grew in was collaboration. Collaboration is talking to people to get a job done. It helps getting to know who a person is and what they can do. Collaboration can also clarify issues so the end product can turn out like they want it to. When it comes to this project, everybody collaborated, including me. I am an introverted person most of the time, and I prefer to not talk to people. So when we were writing our scenes, I talked to my classmates and was able to finish my scene. I learned that talking to people can help me finish work so it meet everyone's expectation, and I actually felt good when I did. Collaboration plays a big part in projects, and I can apply what I did in this project to my other projects and classes. This will help my team get a good end product and collaboration score. It will also allow us to know we're available for help when we need it.
