To Kill A Mockingbird Project
The project was about Harper Lee's book, To Kill A Mockingbird, and how she felt about racism going on in her life. In order to keep her message alive, we were asked to write a play, adapting her story to modern day civil rights issues.
When the project was finished, I felt that an area I grew in was work ethic. What work ethic means is how you do a job that is given to you. People with good work ethic are the people who get a task and begin planning how it should be like in the end. They are the hard workers who start working the moment they are asked to. They are self-disciplined and put work before play. They take all work seriously and try their best to get it as perfect as they can. Work ethic varies on the person, and I feel that I have good work ethic.
The reason why I felt that I improved in my work ethic was because this project was done in a short period of time. Nobody had time to be lazy and slow down. People had to create costumes, scripts, and scenes. Everyone was liable for their part of the end product, and I was liable for preparing for my part of the play and role. When the day of the performance came, we had practiced then prepared for it. Everybody did what they had to do and tried their best to not mess up. I learned that I am still a bit of a procrastinator, but this was slightly fixed by how tight our schedule was. I know that my work ethic isn't the best, but it is good. I say this because I worked hard on the assignments before the play, but when it came to the reading packet, I didn't fill some of the chapter reviews accordingly. And when this project was over, I learned that by having a schedule like this, I'm able to work at a better pace. This is why I believe I grew in work ethic. When it comes to future projects, I believe I can apply my work ethic to those and get a better result. I can apply my work ethic by making schedules and focusing more on getting things done by due dates.

Project Me
Project Me was a project assigned in Mr. Craine's P.E class. It's a project we don't exactly present, but we constantly work on it and track because the project is us. We had to come up with exercise routines made by us and a powerpoint showing our progress. This project is a good example of work ethic because I have to work everyday on it and try hard to get the result I want. I am liable for my actions, so I'm always trying to improve.
Self-Portrait
This project was about us doing a self-portrait. We took a picture ourselves, changed the colors to grayscale, and flipped it upside down. This was to test a drawing technique where you just draw the lines you saw and not the lines you "saw" in your head if it was normal. This would, in my opinion, be effective since the drawing came out good. We followed all these tutorials to color ourselves and make our background. I can say that my favorite part was the coloring and background making because the color choices tell about you. My least favorite was looking at my self-portrait and wondering if it's good enough or no one will like it. I didn't know how to make a good self portrait until now and I figured this would be the most valuable thing I learned.
